Mieko is a tiki carver specializing in wood carved pendants and desktop tikis. From her wood carvings she makes handcrafted resin pendants, each individually cast and hand painted. She was taught her tiki carving skills from renowned tiki artists like Polynesiac, Benzart, Bosko and Tiki Diablo. Mieko has created pendants for artist Doug Horne and Ona'tiki and sold her art at stores and conventions around the country. Mieko is also a founding member of the San Diego Tiki Carvers, a group of tiki carving artists who meet on a monthly basis that share carving techniques and knowledge.
